An active NYPD police officer was hospitalized with minor injuries after she was struck by a hit-and-run driver on a Queens street early Saturday, authorities said – less than a week after another police officer was shot and killed when a maniac opened fire in a Midtown skyscraper.
The incident occurred just after 5 a.m. when officers attempted to pull over a speeding blue four-door Subaru Sedan near 46th Avenue and 108th Street, officers said.
The officer was taken to a local hospital and so far, the suspect is still on the run.
